Prerequisites

IAM Certificate or GCSEs/A levels or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or NVQ Level 3 (Administration or Management) or equivalent international qualifications.

About The Course

The Diploma in Administrative Management is aimed at the office worker embarking on a career in management or supervision. The IAM qualifications offer you a coordinated opportunity to develop in your current role, to equip you for your future career progression and to be recognised as a professional in your field.

As you work through your studies you can instantly apply your knowledge to your workplace. It makes you look at your working environment in a new light and encourages you to improve your working philosophy.

The Diploma can be studied in six months to a year, you can then go on to complete the Advanced Diploma with another year's study. These courses will take you on the route to a degree course (Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Management).

Examination

The examinations are held in June and December each year at registered IAM centres. It is the responsibility of the student to arrange the examination but the syllabus details and exam information can be obtained from National College of Technology.

Examinations can be sat at any registered IAM centre these can be found on the IAM website: www.instam.org. Examination fees are included in the course price however, the invigilation fee is not. Examination fees are included in the course price.

Application Procedure and IAM Membership

Before enrolling on this course you will need to complete two forms - the IAM Application Form for acceptance to the Institute, (this is available from National College of Technologies) and also the NCT application form.

If you are already a Member of the Institute just complete our Start Form and send it to National College of Technologies together with your IAM registration number.
